Favorite things Friday – Lincoln News Messenger in Lincoln, CA

Lincoln News Messenger-Tony’s 24 hr race

I love Lincoln. I like the small town feel and the friendliness of the people. I like being able to go to events like the 4th of July Fireworks, Farmer’s Market and Car Shows and being able to say “hi” to lots of people I know. I love the proximity to the mountains and also to the ocean. I like taking drives out through the country and seeing the rolling hills, granite outcroppings and happy cows in the pastures. I like this time of year when everything is green, but I also like seeing the “golden” grass of the fields in the summer. Lincoln sunsets are amazing. Another thing I like about Lincoln is our weekly newspaper, the “Lincoln News Messenger”. It isn’t a large newspaper by any means, but it always provides some human interest stories and history of Lincoln as well as covering our city’s past and upcoming events. It really gives you a feel for what Lincoln is all about. If you are thinking about moving here or are resident that cares about our City, I highly recommend taking a look at our little, weekly publication. The Lincoln News Messenger is one of my favorite things. I prefer the old fashioned feel of the paper in my hands, but it is online too at lincolnnewsmessenger.com
